About Dr. Yamada
Jason Yamada, DDS, MS
Jason Yamada, DDS, is a periodontist provider at Implant & Periodontal Institute (IPI) of Torrance in Torrance, California. Dr. Yamada received his dental degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He then earned his postdoctoral degree in periodontics and a master’s degree in oral biology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Dr. Yamada specializes in implant surgery, microsurgery, periodontal surgery, and limited implant restoration. His extensive knowledge in these fields has allowed him to act as a clinical advisor and consultant for several implant companies.
He was an assistant clinical professor in the advanced graduate program in periodontics and implant surgery at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry for over 15 years. He’s also a guest lecturer at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Yamada enjoys speaking nationally, as well as internationally, as he’s lectured in Guam, Japan, Colombia, England, and Spain.
Dr. Yamada was born and raised in Honolulu and is of Japanese descent and speaks fluent Japanese.
He’s a highly regarded and recommended periodontist who feels passionate about caring for his patients and treats them like they’re family.
